The Trustees of Reservations

The Trustees of Reservations own and care for Monument Mountain, a 503 acre reservation located along Route 7 in Great Barrington, halfway between the center of Great Barrington and the village of Stockbridge.
The Trustees are a member supported statewide conservation with 13 natural and historic sites in the Berkshires and 100 sites across Massachusetts. The mission of The Trustees is to preserve the character of local communities and to provide access to high quality cultural and outdoor experiences. With Great Barrington Trails and Greenways, we encourage people from the local community to get outside to enjoy the trails and learn about this local landmark. We invite everyone who enjoys Monument Mountain to become a trail steward and to help participate in the protection and care of this beautiful place. Each summer we run volunteer days on the first and third Saturdays of the month. To learn more about educational and volunteer programs related to Monument Mountain, feel free to contact The Trustees in the Stockbridge regional office at 413.298.3239 x3000 or email westregion@ttor.org.
